Love making cards!!!

I had a blast making over 30 cards with the 2SD card kit.
a bit card crazy, I know. but the kit was so versitile and fun~ and hey, crazy is good.

played a bit with some paint.
this was some serious fun.

I actually love Mondays. yep. I do. We had a pretty busy weekend...a pretty good weekend at the White house.

having Spaghetti!

my recipe:
i cook like i scrap...rarely measure!


some olive oil
1 large onion
1 green pepper
celery (2 stalks)
mushrooms
garlic
big ole can of tomatoes, undrained
tomato sauce (if you want)
basil
oregano
teeny bit of salt
pinch of fennel
pepper.


heat oil, saute onion, green pepper, celery, garlic. add rest of stuff! reduce heat to simmer, cover. cook as long as you need.

church night. that's what happens on Wednesday. Howard picks the kids up-- and they get TACO BELL, or McD's or a picnic that I have packed--The kids play with friends and Howard has meetings. I usually am crafty on Wednesdays. not today. with the hoiday weekend, sick kids, school starting up again....I didn't create anything today. I am trying to get back into our regular routine. ( routines are good for me) Sophie missed school yesterday and part of today. When she went late, she happily, fell right into her routine! here is a LO of Sophie at "school" in classroom B!

I am really into altered boxes. I have always love little boxes to put treasures in. I made this little box for Sophie (sick in the picutre...)
Here is an easy way to cover the boxes with ribbon....cover the area with regular adhesive. I used the 3L red scrapbook adhesive. add strips of ribbon to the top! soooo easy and such fun results. I got the pink box at the $ store! (yep. it cost $1 hehehehe!) I used scraps of old SR pp and my french twist ribbons....

Music and Moves...

I am teaching a new class today. MUSIC and MOVES.

we will see if this old body can still dance and sing at the same time.

it has been.....uuuum. AWHILE!
the kids are 3rd-7th grade and this is my ONLY class that had enough kids enrolled this summer. all the others I had taught before. not this one.

I am pulling out all my old swing choir mooooooves.{ JAZZ HANDS BABY. ooooh. good photo op!!!}
and all my cruise ship, camp days knowledge for this one. wish me luck!!!

how, how, how did that happen!!! time. crazy thing. speaking of crazy...read about a circle card challenge and made these fun cards....songs with ROUND in the lyrics and my $store coasters were used in the making of my 3 cards. a bit crazy...but, hey. I had fun making them!!!
