my recipe:
i cook like i scrap...rarely measure!
some olive oil
1 large onion
1 green pepper
celery (2 stalks)
mushrooms
garlic
big ole can of tomatoes, undrained
tomato sauce (if you want)
basil
oregano
teeny bit of salt
pinch of fennel
pepper.
heat oil, saute onion, green pepper, celery, garlic. add rest of stuff! reduce heat to simmer, cover. cook as long as you need.
