this week's mojo!

My boy was such a little Pirate Cutie!!!

-the stamps are from stampin' up.  I used chalks and markers to color them.
-I sanded the picture and drew the border around Dow with colored pencils and watercolor crayons.

caardvarks

I just love the challenges at 'Varks.  They really get me thinking.  For these cards I used my NEW FUN GOTTA HAVE THEM watercolor wonder crayons and water paintbrush.  I also used my best dressed kit from two spotted dogs

shiny happy tiny cards

I have this thing for little cards.  not sure why.  To me they are just cute little pieces of happiness!  So when I got this Luxe paper in my hands I thought of some happy summery little cards.  each card is 3x3 and fits in the little envelopes I got from Stampin' Up.  I borrowed some punches from Kim Peck at one of her crops and here you go!  I bundled the cards in 4's and have them sitting in a bowl on my desk.  they make me smile!!!

ummm, did you see that cool header?

Last Tuesday, I opened up a pm and saw this amazing header!  What a perfect gift from the completely talented, fabulously sweet, Nathalia!  It seriously made my day!  It was Nathalia's blog: Funky Phresh Papier Kreations, that got me wanting to spruce mine up a bit!  N and the blogs of my scrappy friends!  If you have a few seconds take a look at the work of my those talented gals on that list to the left!  you will not be disappointed.

2 sketches 4 you.

I am digging this blog.  I was so inspired by the latest sketch...I made 3 cards.  I used the MM Ruby papers from the Funky Vintage line.  I LOVE that stuff.  wow, it is fun and right up my alley!!!

Gift.

I lifted Sandie for Mojo Holder #67.

a few of my how to's!

~I placed a heart button on top of a big pink button and added some funky fun bling leaves from Creative Charms for my corner embellie.

~ I used a whole piece of grunge board to mat the photo.  & a sharpie to trace the swirlies!

~Bright colors of chalk ink on the torn edges of the black and white papers added a little pop to the LO.

~ A steel ruler placed on the pp before I  tear is how my mats are a teeny bit distressed.

~  I also used my ANCIENT hardly ever used Stampin Up chalks (or pastels) to hightlight the word gift in the paper.

I am so shocked when I look at this pic of my baby.  she USED TO BE SOOOO TINY.  Sophie Jane was 2 days old in that pic!
